Tory cuts have led to a 72% rise in A&E admissions for mental health problems.

Policies such as the benefits cap and Bedroom Tax have plunged needy families into poverty, sparking an epidemic of depression and self harm.

Hospital emergency units, with budgets already slashed to breaking point, had to deal with an extra 67,000 psychiatric patients in 2015.

And police are now spending over a third of their time on mental health incidents with call-outs up 8% last year.

One suicidal woman was left in A&E for 19 hours be­­­cause not a single mental health bed was available in the entire country.
