DWP Cuts Number Of Specialist Disability Employment Advisers By 60%

The number of full-time specialist disability employment advisers posted in Jobcentres have been drastically reduced since 2011.

The full-time advisers are employed to help disabled people navigate the complicated benefits system and find work. Over the last four years, the number of specialist advisers fell by over 60 per cent, from 226 to just 90.
